Words, pictures and now a movie. Not a blockbuster but Sam Gribben gives us a little more info about Serato's ITCH and Vestax's ITCH based controller the VCI-300 than we had before. Tension adjusting platters... hmmm yummy.

Thanks Sam and Gizmo for the video demo. How about more screen shots of the software? Now, bring on SSL 1.8.1 with native support for some Denon and Pioneer goodness of controllers.

There's some photo coverage leaked onto a few Japanese sites, it looks like there's a built-in 24-bit/96khz AD/DA (from the PMC-580Pro) with input/thru, and two master outputs, stereo 1/4 and stereo RCA.

So yeah, no external soundcard needed, it looks like this is as portable as it gets

Also, I think I saw a ground post as well. I wonder what that means for those of us still using our caveman decks

what would be the price of the VCI-300?
looks like the ideal portable controller for when i don't want to use timecode-vinyl solutions. A pity it doesn't have pitchbend/nudge buttons though.
Will it send out midi info btw? so i can also use it with other software than ITCH..

That's all well and good Siya, but does it take a Pro X Fade?

Does anybody know if there are any effects that can be controlled using this with ITCH.
