denon DN-HS5500 demo

Denon's new wonder deck the DN-HS5500 edges ever closer to retailers shelves and in the true spirit of hype and tease, Denon have made a short demo movie to show just how dandy the platter is and a few extra features for good measure. Geeks can switch off now as it doesn't show USB at all, just how well the platter performs and sounds.

I would expect to see a much more complete version of the 5500 at NAMM where you should be able to check out the options available for the unit. No word yet on anything else that may or may not appear at NAMM. Jeeez - isn't the 5500 enough?

I cant wait to see more about those. I bought Torq to use with 1200s & found that i use it with the akai mpd24 more than the decks so i think using this as a midi controller would be the perfect compromise. Plus really you are also getting 2 amzing mp3 decks in one unit. I may find that i prefer using the 5500 to using Torq. P.S there was a thread on there site about HDX being sold for 499 dollars again thats one hell of a bargain.

He's about as good as me at scratching. It looks tasty though.

Actually, I've seen Shy scratching and he is far more better than this. This was just a quick demo video that most have been requesting.

Hopefully, we can see a tutorial video from Silvio that explains all the 5500 features. A shame it doesn't have A/B Splice (skip portion of music seamlessly) though.

I would also love a full battle (juggle) demonstraion video from shy using two 5500.

Sil mentioned on ProDJforums that an official marketing video will most likely hit the street right after NAMM.

My 7 year old could demo scratch that better than that video ... Why can they not find people to do real demos instead of someone just trying!
